Allstaff Finance & Accountancy Division are delighted to bring to the market the role of Office / Financial Administrator for well established company in Glasgow.
THE ROLE
Candidates will need to enjoy working in a small but busy office environment. You will work as part of a team responsible for managing and completing the day-to-day office and financial administration activities to support the technical staff, other Administrator(s) and the Partners.
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic individual with an attention to detail and a methodical approach to their work.
The ideal candidate will have good communication skills; good numeracy and literacy qualifications. Accountancy qualifications/QBE and experience with Quickbooks would be an advantage, however full training will be provided where required:
Invoice generation and management
Financial management and reporting (Banking, VAT, Credit Cards, Petty Cash etc.)
Quickbooks management with company Accountant
Preparation of VAT returns
Timesheet, overtime and expenses management
Reception and switchboard duties
Filing and recording incoming mail / emails
Assist with letters, documents and reports in MS Word and MS Excel formats
Quality Systems management (audits, reviews and revisions etc.)
Environmental Systems management (audits, reviews and revisions etc.)
Management and procurement of office supplies
Manage office records (licences, equipment, training, annual leave etc.)
Operation of email system
Booking travel and accommodation for staff
General day-to-day operation of office systems and procedures

Location: Glasgow
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm (however some flexibility within this)
Salary: from £34,000 depending on experience
