Job Title: Roadside Survey Interviewer – Park and Ride (Perth, Scotland)
Locations: Broxden Park & Ride – PH2 0PX, Kinross Park & Ride - KY13 8TA
Duration: 2 days total – 1 weekday and 1 weekend day
Dates: Week Commencing 27th October 2025
Hours: 6am-6pm
Pay: £13 per hour
About the Role
We are recruiting reliable and friendly Roadside Survey Interviewers to assist with a short-term transport study taking place at park and ride locations in and around Perth, Scotland. The surveys will collect travel pattern information from drivers and passengers to support local transport planning and improvements.
Key Responsibilities
• Approach drivers or passengers at designated park and ride sites in a polite and professional manner.
• Conduct short, structured interviews using a tablet or paper questionnaire.
• Record accurate responses and ensure data quality.
• Work as part of a small team under the supervision of a field coordinator.
• Follow all safety and confidentiality procedures.
Requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident speaking with members of the public.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work outdoors for extended periods.
• Must be available for both the weekday and weekend survey days.
• Previous survey or fieldwork experience is desirable but not essential (training provided).
• Ability to travel to the assigned park and ride sites in Perth.
