We’re on the lookout for a positive, hands-on Apprentice to join our Grounds Maintenance Team in Salford!
You’ll learn the ropes and take on the same tasks as our Grounds Maintenance Operatives, all while working towards a recognised qualification. It’s a great chance to make a real difference in the local area by helping to keep outdoor spaces clean, safe, and looking their best.
This is a 24 month fixed term contract, working 40 hours per week. The salary is based upon the National Minimum Age for apprentices.

Your Role:
Attend training and work toward your craft qualification
Undertake grounds maintenance work to areas and properties as per customers specifications relevant to the area
Leave homes clean and safe, collecting tenant signatures after jobs
Support colleagues and build relationships across the business
Safely operate tools, machinery, and vehicles
Keep accurate records of work and materials used
Follow safety procedures, including reporting hazards like asbestos
Complete paperwork accurately and ensure customer satisfaction
Work flexibly, including out-of-hours if needed, and follow all health and safety guidelines
What We Need from You.
Have a genuine interest in working in grounds maintenance
Have a GCSE or equivalent standard in Maths and English (grade 4 and above)
Have a positive approach to completing relevant courses and qualifications
Flexibility and a positive attitude towards varied work and schedules
Excellent customer service skills and punctuality
Ability to demonstrate excellent organisational and planning skills
