Specialist Level doctors with a minimum of 6-years sub-specialty training in Stroke medicine are encouraged to apply. Applicants are encouraged to clearly exhibit how they meet our criteria in their application. It is essential that you meet the minimum post-qualifying time frame alongside the minimum number of years experience is Stroke Medicine as the successful post-holder will be the Senior Decision Making doctor on the Stroke On Call rota at times. The post holder will be a member of the Care of the Elderly and Stroke Team and contribute to the provision of a high quality service, including achievement of the emergency access targets and other relevant quality standards. The post holder will be expected to provide excellent communication with GPs and members of the multidisciplinary team and to be involved in clinical audit and other clinical governance responsibilities.
