Position: Level 3 Early Years Practitioner
Department: Over Two’s Room
Contract Type: Full-Time (3 full days per week, potential for 4)
Hours: Based on weekly rota – 3 days between Monday and Friday (no set days)
Working Pattern: Term-Time Only (with the option for year-round work if preferred)
Reports to: Room Leader / Nursery Manager
About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our Over Two’s Room.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and committed to providing a warm, stimulating, and supportive environment for children aged 2–3 years.

Key Responsibilities
Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where every child feels valued and supported.
Plan and deliver stimulating activities based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Observe, assess, and record children’s progress, contributing to their individual learning journeys.
Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Support the Room Leader in maintaining smooth daily routines and a high standard of care.
Ensure all policies and procedures, especially regarding safeguarding and health and safety, are consistently followed.
Contribute to the nursery’s positive team culture through reflective practice and open communication.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
A strong understanding of the EYFS and child development.
Experience working with children aged 2–3 years (preferred).
Passionate about supporting each child’s individual development and wellbeing.
Reliable, flexible, and a positive team player.
Willingness to work 3 full days per week (Monday–Friday) on a rota basis, with potential for 4 days when needed.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
