Are you a detail-oriented planner with a passion for driving efficiency and excellence in production scheduling? We have an opportunity for a Finite Production Planner to join our team at Swindon Zydis, where innovation meets precision in a 24/7 operational environment.

As a Finite Production Planner, you’ll play a pivotal role in creating and executing short-term production schedules that meet both internal and external customer demands. You’ll work closely with Operations, Planning, and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless execution and continuous improvement.

This position Monday to Friday role.

The Role:

To coordinate the requirements to meet the schedule a 1–2 week production schedule aligned with customer requirements.

Lead daily and weekly planning meetings, driving schedule adherence and readiness to execute.

To have knowledge of entire production processes and its bottlenecks to ensure clear understanding of constraint management. To walk the production area daily to ensure understanding and awareness of daily needs and activities.

Monitor and report on schedule performance, identifying root causes and influencing resolution.

Collaborate cross-functionally to manage WIP, workflow, and resource planning.

Support planning processes with data analysis, reporting, and administrative tasks.

Ensure compliance with EH&S and GMP standards, including SOP management and training.

The Candidate:

Strong communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to prioritise workload considering and balancing constraints

Ability to produce a detailed master production schedule considering all resource and materials available

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Experience in a planning or scheduling role within a manufacturing environment.

Good knowledge of LEAN principles and constraint management.
