Job Details
We’re currently recruiting Class 1 HGV Drivers (C+E) for curtain side work, running between sites, suppliers, and customers.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Curtain side deliveries and collections
- Site to customer shuttle runs
- Site to supplier routes (1–2 suppliers per run)
This role offers steady midweek work with long weekends off — ideal for experienced drivers looking for a great work-life balance.
Your Role
- Operate Class 1 vehicles safely and professionally
- Ensure timely deliveries and collections
- Carry out pre- and post-trip vehicle checks
- Keep accurate delivery records and logs
- Follow all traffic laws and safety procedures
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence held for at least 1 year
- Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience
- CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card
- Maximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
- Good knowledge of Driver Hours, Regulations, and the Working Time Directive
