We are seeking a passionate and experienced Multi-Skills Lecturer to join a leading Further Education college in Shropshire. This part-time position offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality teaching across a range of construction trades, supporting learners at different levels to develop their skills and achieve their qualifications.
- Deliver engaging and practical lessons across multiple trade disciplines (e.g. plumbing, carpentry, brickwork, plastering, or electrical).
- Plan, prepare, and assess learners in accordance with curriculum requirements.
- Support students in developing both technical skills and workplace readiness.
- Ensure high standards of health, safety, and compliance within workshop sessions.
- Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement within the department.
- Relevant trade qualification(s) in construction or property maintenance.
- Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
- Experience delivering or supporting multi-trade courses within FE or a training environment.
- Strong communication and organisational skills with a commitment to learner success.
- Part-time hours (to be agreed with the college)
