CICA Lawyer
Location: Leeds (Hybrid working available)
Salary: Up to £35,000 (dependent on experience)

An established and respected law firm in Leeds is seeking a CICA Lawyer to join their expanding Personal Injury department.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor or legal executive with at least 12 months’ experience handling Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (CICA) claims to develop their expertise within a supportive and forward-thinking team.

The Role:

- Managing your own caseload of CICA claims from initial instruction through to
settlement
- Liaising with clients, the CICA, and medical experts
- Preparing and submitting applications, reviews, and appeals
- Providing clear, compassionate advice to clients who have suffered as victims of
crime

Requirements:

- Minimum 12 months’ experience dealing with CICA claims
- Strong understanding of the CICA Scheme and relevant procedures
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage a varied caseload independently
