Further details about the role

The governing body and leadership team at St George’s are seeking a committed and talented teacher to support the school’s drive for inclusion and excellent learning and teaching.

Extensive induction and high quality CPD will be available for the successful candidate.

St George’s is a large school with 35 classes. Recruitment opportunities are rare. You will be joining a school with unique partnership opportunities in Wirral. We are:

• Accredited Great Teaching Centre with Evidence Based Education.
• Oracy Centre of Excellence with Voice 21
• Research Champion with Chartered College of teaching
• Initial Teaching Training facilitator with Kingsbridge SCITT
• CPD partner for Maths Hub, Inspire teaching Hub and Local Authority.

School visits are warmly encouraged. School tours for prospective candidates will be held on Friday 17th October at either 8.30am or 4.00pm. School Tours will take place at the upper site building on Claremount Road (CH45 6UE). Interviews will be held on morning of Friday 24th of October.

Interviews will consist of a short lesson observation and interview.
