Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship - Imagination Childcare
Shoots Training are seeking a motivated, reliable, and enthusiastic individual as an apprentice to complete their Level 3 Childcare qualification with Imagination Childcare
Imagination Childcare are a small independent family-run nursery who have 3 rooms, Ladybirds, Caterpillars and Butterflies, which will allow us to have children from the ages of newborn to 5 years. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum to provide your child the best start in life.
Your duties and responsibilities will include;
- Assist in creating a warm, safe, and engaging environment for young children.
- Support the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities to encourage learning and development.
- Supervise children during play, meal, and rest times, always ensuring their well-being.
- Work alongside staff to support children’s social, emotional, and physical needs.
- Help maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic setting following health and safety guidelines.
- Observe and record children’s progress, reporting to supervisors as required.
- Communicate effectively with children, staff, and parents, fostering positive relationships.
Requirements;
- Level 2 qualification in Early Years is desired
- Experience within a childcare setting would be beneficial
- You must be able to gain a clear DBS
- Have GCSE's A*-C in English Language and Maths, or equivalent i.e. functional skills
Hours;
- The successful candidate will be required to work 40 hours per week, with shift patterns to be discussed
- Imagination Childcare is open from 08:00-18:00 Monday-Friday all year round
