We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to join a leading Tier 1 M&E subcontractor on a high-profile data centre project in North Acton. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering one of London's most technically advanced and fast-paced construction environments.
As Electrical Construction Manager, you'll be responsible for driving progress on site, managing the electrical installation teams, and ensuring that all works are delivered to the highest standards of safety, quality, and programme.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day electrical installation activities across multiple phases of the data centre project
Coordinate subcontractors, direct labour, and materials to meet programme deadlines
Ensure all works comply with current health & safety regulations and project specifications
Report progress to the Project Manager and attend regular coordination and client meetings
Monitor quality assurance processes and implement corrective actions where needed
Collaborate with other trades to ensure seamless integration across all MEP systems
Support commissioning activities and handover documentation
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Electrical Construction Manager on major M&E or data centre projects
Strong technical background in electrical systems, ideally with mission-critical or HV/LV exposure
SMSTS / SSSTS, CSCS, and First Aid (as minimum site qualifications)
Ability to manage subcontractors and drive productivity on-site
Strong communication and leadership skills
