A new and extended contract came into force in January 2021 through which survivors of modern slavery are now entitled to support at all stages of their recovery.We are looking for a highly motivated, meticulous and flexible Referrals Team Leader to support the delivery of the Modern Slavery Victim Care Contract. This is a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the contract and the support services provided to vulnerable individuals.If you are passionate about managing a team and supporting vulnerable people, this role could be for you!Key Responsibilities:Provide line management to a team of 10 Referral Officers and Administrative AssistantsManage process workflows by monitoring volumes and work allocation, ensuring KPI’s are met and cases continue to be managed to the required standardProduce reports and analyse management informationFacilitate and lead team meetingsEnsure all activities performed meet the minimum standards of our Quality Management Framework, adhering to ISO9001Ensure operating manuals and procedures remain up to dateContribute to continuous improvement initiativesUphold data protection standards and ensure all records are maintained securely.The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate:Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a teamExcellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentConfidence in handling enquiries and providing high-quality customer serviceExceptional written and communication skillsPeople management experience in a similar team leader positionProficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)A keen eye for detail and accuracyA proactive, can-do attitude with a drive to perform at a high standardWhat would be beneficial:Experience in the charity, voluntary, or community sectorKnowledge of the National Referral Mechanism (NRM) and how it supports victims of Modern SlaveryWhy join us?This is more than just a team leader role - it’s an opportunity to be part of an organisation making a tangible difference in people’s lives.
