The posts available will enhance our current SEND student support team, providing 1 to 1 support, small group support and study skills development for students with Education, Health and Care Plans. You will be liaising with the Student Support Co-ordinators and tutors to ensure a safe and supportive study environment for all of our students.
These exciting positions will work directly with young people in and out of the classroom environment to meet their individual needs.
Full on the job training will be offered for all of the positions available. In addition, formal funded training is available including the Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning.
These roles are key in supporting students to continuously improve their social and academic skills, to secure achievement, and prepare for independence into adulthood. Working with college staff and tutors will be a key aspect for all of the roles.
The successful applicants must possess the drive, energy and enthusiasm for such pivotal roles and want to gain experience of providing student support within the SEND arena.
HLNSC is committed to equality of opportunity, safeguarding including the Prevent Duty and promoting the welfare of all learners and expects all members of staff to share this commitment.
