Job Title: CNC Mill/Turn Setter
Job Type: Nights, Perm
Location: Henley-on-Thames area
Hours: 40hr flexible
Pay: £45,000 - £52,000 DOE
Our client is a family run company that has been specialising in manufacturing very complex machined components for over 40 years. Due to a retirement, our client is looking for CNC Turner Setter.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
⦠A high degree of experience setting and operating Mill/Turn machines
⦠Used to working in a variety of materials and often to tight tolerances.
⦠Able to use initiative in the tasks undertaken.
⦠Positive, courteous, and flexible manner needed for working with our positive, courteous and flexible team.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
⦠To assist the planning and efficiency in the CNC sections.
⦠Working on a variety of Fanuc 2 & 3 axis (Nakamura)
⦠Ensure all programs are saved and organised as per our company procedure.
⦠Be proactive in the work place and able to work on multiple
⦠Ensure machining processes are optimised.
⦠Support and advise other employees when required, in machining.
The ideal candidate must have/ skills required:
⦠Experience with FANUC or similar controls
⦠Understanding of basic metrology using vernier calipers, micrometer, height gauges etc
⦠Experience of running programs on CMMs and other automated inspection devices.
⦠Ability to read and understand technical drawings
