Are you a passionate and experienced HLTA looking to make a real impact in a vibrant primary school setting? Hays Education is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Wirral, seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their team.
Your new role
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. You'll be confident in leading whole-class sessions, delivering targeted interventions, and working collaboratively with teaching staff to raise pupil attainment and engagement.
- Deliver high-quality learning activities under the guidance of teaching staff
- Lead small group and whole-class sessions across Key Stages
- Support pupils with varying needs, including SEN and EAL
- Assist in planning and assessing pupil progress
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment
What you'll need to succeed
- HLTA qualification or equivalent
- Proven experience in a primary school setting
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A proactive and nurturing approach to supporting children's learning
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
