About the role
As the Community Learning Centre Coordinator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination and delivery of front-facing services. You will play a pivotal role in supporting learners by ensuring our centres are welcoming, efficient, and equipped with up-to-date resources that promote engaging teaching, learning and assessment experience.
· You will line manage a team of Community Skills Facilitators and Learning Centre Administrators, including setting performance targets, monitoring progress, and supporting development.
· You will oversee the daily operations and service delivery at the Community Learning Centres, ensuring a high-quality experience for all stakeholders.
· The post holder will lead quality assurance and self-assessment activities within the service area, establishing and maintaining high service standards. The post holder will also monitor and evaluate performance and user satisfaction to drive continuous improvement.
About You
You will be a proactive leader with a strong background in educational services or community learning. You’ll be comfortable managing teams, have excellent organisational skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality learner experiences. A sound understanding of both digital and traditional learning resources is essential.
Essential Skills & Experience:
· Experience in staff line management and performance monitoring
· Strong organisational and planning skills
· Knowledge of teaching, learning, and assessment methodologies
· Familiarity with virtual learning environments and digital learning tools
· Experience with service quality and self-assessment frameworks
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
