Derby College Group (DCG) are recruiting for an IT Support Specialist to provide IT technical support to the college. This role is based at our Roundhouse campus.

The Opportunity

Join our dynamic IT team as an IT Support Specialist, providing responsive and professional technical support across all college sites. You’ll handle first- and second-line support, install and maintain hardware/software, and manage helpdesk tickets using Hornbill. This role offers variety, collaboration, and the chance to develop specialist knowledge while delivering excellent customer service to staff, students, and stakeholders.

About You

You’re a proactive, customer-focused individual with strong organisational and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working independently or in a team, you’re keen to develop professionally. You have experience with Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and IT Helpdesk functions, and understand cloud services and mobile operating systems. A driving licence and Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths are essential, along with the ability to handle PC equipment safely.
