Great opportunity to work as a Picker at our client's busy food manufacturing facility, with immediate starts available!
Staffline is recruiting for Pickers to work in Elm.
This is an ongoing position with a temporary-to-permanent opportunity for the right candidate.
You must have your own transport to get to and from the site.
The rate of pay is:
- Day Shift £13.60 per hour
Overtime is available after working 38.5 hours and is paid at:
- Day Shift £17.00 per hour
As a Picker you will be required to work 4 on4 off with additional overtime offered but not expected.
The shifts for this position are:
- Days, 10:30 to 22:00
Please note that this is subject to change to cover and meet business requirements.
Your Time at Work
As a Picker, you will be responsible for accurately picking and palletising customer orders, ensuring they are ready on time and loaded safely and efficiently.
You will play a key part in maintaining product quality and ensuring orders are handled with care throughout the process.
Your responsibilities will also include carrying out checks on the equipment before and after use, inspecting the condition and temperature of trailers upon arrival, and completing the necessary paperwork to support safe and compliant loading. You will assist with daily stock checks and help maintain a well organised warehouse environment.
The role requires experience operating a forklift truck and ride-on pallet truck, along with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

You must be able to communicate effectively in English and understand written instructions, as accurate documentation and compliance with procedures are essential to the role.
Previous experience in a similar position is important, although full training will be provided
