Security & Facilities Coordinator
About the Role
Standing proudly in the heart of Stoke-on-Trent, Advantis Credit operates from the stunning Grade II listed Minton Hollins building. Every day, our Security & Facilities team brings this iconic space to life - combining hospitality, maintenance and smooth operations under one roof.
As our Security & Facilities Coordinator, you’ll be the first friendly face colleagues and visitors see each morning. You’ll keep our historic site safe, secure, and impeccably maintained while helping shape the positive culture that makes working here so special.
What You’ll Do
• Welcome visitors, sign them in, issue badges, and direct them to the right people
• Monitor access points and conduct regular patrols to ensure building security
• Tackle hands-on maintenance tasks like fixing leaks, replacing taps, patching plaster, and handling routine plumbing or carpentry jobs before calling in specialists
• Coordinate routine safety inspections (fire exits, extinguishers, emergency lighting, legionella checks)
• Respond swiftly to facilities issues – from desk assessments to equipment failures
• Act as first responder for first aid incidents, documenting and reporting as needed
• Manage deliveries, contractor visits, and service provider contracts
• Oversee maintenance schedules, order supplies, and optimise operational costs
Who You Are
• A natural host with a warm, professional manner
• Proactive problem-solver who stays calm under pressure
• Effortlessly handy with basic DIY skills and a knack for troubleshooting common maintenance issues
• Detail-oriented and safety-conscious
• Comfortable liaising with contractors, service providers, and senior stakeholders
• Eager to learn and grow—an SIA licence or First Aid qualification is advantageous (training support available)
