Hours: 37.5 per week | Mon–Fri, 09:00–17:30
Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council is seeking a dedicated and qualified Social Worker to join their Community Services team on a short-term assignment. This vacancy is currently under review and offers a meaningful opportunity to support vulnerable individuals and families across the borough.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality social work services in line with statutory duties and best practice
Undertake assessments, develop care plans, and coordinate support packages
Work collaboratively with multi-agency teams to safeguard and promote wellbeing
Maintain accurate records and contribute to service development
Engage with individuals, families, and carers to ensure their voices are heard
About You
We’re looking for a compassionate and skilled professional who:
Is registered with Social Care Wales
Has at least 2 years of relevant experience in a qualified social work role
Holds appropriate social work qualifications
Demonstrates strong communication, assessment, and case management skills
Is committed to promoting dignity, independence, and inclusion
