Blue Recruitment Personnel is currently seeking experienced and reliable HGV Class 2 HIAB Drivers to join our growing team for ongoing contracts across various delivery sites & depots across Greater London.
This is a fantastic opportunity for professional drivers seeking stable, Monday-to-Friday work—no weekends or nights required.
Pay and Working Hours:
- Hourly Rate: £20.00 – £24.00
- Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
- Start Times: Typically between 06:00 and 08:00
- Average Shift Length: 8–10 hours
- Overtime available (subject to client demand)
Key Responsibilities:
- Safe and efficient operation of Class 2 vehicles with HIAB attachments
- Multi-drop deliveries of building materials to commercial and residential sites
- Operating HIAB crane (including remote, brick & grab or hook, as required)
- Securing loads and conducting daily vehicle checks
- Completing delivery paperwork and logs accurately
- Providing excellent customer service on-site
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence (Category C – Class 2)
- Valid HIAB Certificate (ALLMI or equivalent) – brick/grab or remote
- Current Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 6 months of recent HIAB driving experience (preferred)
- Strong understanding of driver regulations and safety practices
- No major endorsements (no DR, DD, IN, or TT99 codes)
Ideal Candidate:
- Punctual, reliable and customer-focused
- Strong knowledge of London routes and delivery procedures
- Able to work independently and professionally under time constraints
- Committed to health and safety standards
