Due to increased growth with our client a leading main contractor we are looking for an experienced Document Controller to join then on a FTC for 12 months based in Redditch

You will be working on a Planned Maintenance Contract within a well established team that is consistently growing!

Offering a competitive salary of up to £43,000 + great benefits

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain document control processes and systems in compliance with company policies and project requirements, manage the storage, retrieval, and distribution of project documentation using document management software.
  • Liaise with designers and specialist suppliers on queries regarding issues of information
  • Monitor document revisions, maintain version control, and track changes to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Conduct regular audits to verify document integrity and adherence to quality standards.
  • Travel around sites when needed (all midlands based& expenses paid) and provide insights to management team

Experience

  • Proven experience in document control (ideally construction/ maintenance industry)
  • Proficiency in document management software (e.g. SharePoint) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
