We're working with a well-established and welcoming college in Epping who are seeking a passionate and dedicated Business Lecturer to join their team on a full-time, temporary ongoing basis.
You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching across a range of BTEC Business courses, helping students develop a strong understanding of business principles and preparing them for future study or employment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for BTEC Business students at Levels 2 and 3
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students are motivated to succeed
- Assess student work in line with awarding body standards and provide constructive feedback
- Monitor learner progress and support individual development through tutorials and guidance
- Contribute to course development and departmental activities as part of the wider teaching team
Requirements:
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent)
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Business or a related subject area
- Previous experience teaching BTEC Business within an FE or sixth form setting
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A commitment to providing a positive learning experience and helping learners achieve their full potential
