The University of Glasgow has been changing the world for more than 574 years, and we are one of the world's top 100 universities, ranked 12th in the world in the Times Higher Education (THE) World Impact Rankings 2024, demonstrating that we are not only one of the best universities in the United Kingdom, but one of the best universities for the world. Our people have always been at the forefront of innovation, and our past achievements inspire our current world changers.
This is a great opportunity for a User Experience Designer to join the University’s Digital Experience Team.
We’re building something better at the University of Glasgow. Not just better websites, but better experiences. The kind that make sense, feel effortless, and quietly make people’s lives easier.
We’re looking for a User Experience Designer who still believes design can do that. Someone with the craft, curiosity and confidence that comes from commercial experience, but who’s ready to put those skills to work on something more meaningful.
You’ll help us reimagine how students find their way into the University, starting with a new CRM experience built on Salesforce. It’s complex, human, and full of opportunity for someone who loves designing systems that actually work for people.
If you’re the kind of designer who sweats the details, cares about the why as much as the what, and wants to make a real impact at scale, you’ll fit right in.
This post is full time (35 hours p/w) and fixed term for up to the 30th July 2027
