We are looking for a compassionate and reliable female Personal Assistant (PA) to support a young lady with autism. This role will start gradually, building trust and confidence, and eventually develop into 8 hours per/week once settled.About the Role:
The main purpose of this role is to support the client in accessing the community and maintaining her independence. She enjoys spending time outdoors and has a particular love for animals, nature, and wildlife. Activities may include visiting local outdoor spaces such as Leigh Woods or The Wild Place, as well as other community outings.The client is an intelligent and creative young woman who can experience challenges with her mental health, mobility, and other health needs. She has a wonderful sense of humour and shares her home with family and pets including cats, rabbits, and bugs.Key Responsibilities:· Building a supportive and trusting relationship with the client.· Assisting with accessing the community and outdoor activities.· Encouraging independence while providing practical and emotional support.· Supporting the client with her interests, particularly animals and nature.Requirements:· Female· DBS· Driver with access to a car.· Non-smoker.· Patience, empathy, and a compassionate approach are essential.· Knowledge or experience of autism would be beneficial, but not essential.Hours & Pay:· Gradual start, building up to 8 hours per week.· £12.60 per hour.This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in supporting a young woman to live more independently and enjoy the things she loves.
