Are you an experienced food production operative living in the Scunthorpe area looking for work? Then we have an opportunity for you.
You will be working in a well-established food production team just outside of Scunthorpe. In this fast-paced role, your job will be to ensure products are packed safely and to a high standard. You will be maintaining a smooth production process and ensuring the daily production targets are met.
Your duties will include but not be limited to;
• Loading and unloading production machines
• Bagging
• Packaging
• Heavy lifting
• Transferring packaged items to the dispatch area
• Maintaining clean and tidy workstations
For this role you will need;
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably food production
• To be able to work well in a team
• A good level of fitness as you will be lifting and moving heavy packages and pallets
• Good written and spoken English
Please note due to the location of the site you will need your own transport, free parking is available on site.
This is a long term, ongoing position.
You will be working 5 days in 7 on a rota basis with the start time being 07:00. This role is 40+ hours a week.
The hourly rate is £12.40 per hour. You will accrue up to 28 days holiday per year.
