Stratford Manor Primary School is seeking a committed and enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join our inclusive and nurturing school community to cover a maternity leave in our specialist SEN class within our mainstream school.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs and ensuring they achieve their full potential in a caring, structured and stimulating environment.
About the Role:
You will:
• Teach and support a small class of pupils with diverse SEN needs, including ASD, speech & language difficulties, and moderate learning difficulties.
• Deliver creative, differentiated lessons that engage and inspire all learners.
• Work closely with the SENCO, teaching assistants and external professionals to provide targeted support.
• Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere where every child feels safe, respected and motivated to succeed.
• Maintain strong communication with parents and carers, celebrating progress and sharing strategies for success.
About You:
We are looking for a teacher who:
• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Has experience teaching pupils with special educational needs, either in a mainstream or specialist setting.
• Demonstrates empathy, patience, and creativity in supporting individual learning journeys.
• Works well as part of a dedicated team and has excellent communication skills.
• Is passionate about inclusive education and committed to making a meaningful difference.
