Salary: £13.40 per hour, plus benefits
Job Type: Full-time, part-time patterns may be considered
Contract: Monday to Friday | 40 hours/week | Shifts between 7:30am–6:00pm
Start Date: January 2026

About the Role

Are you a passionate and caring early years professional looking for an exciting new opportunity? Shooting Stars Nurseries is thrilled to be opening a brand-new, fully refurbished nursery in Tettenhall — and we’re looking for enthusiastic Nursery Nurses to join our team from the very beginning!

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of something special — helping to create a warm, nurturing, and high-quality environment for children and families, while working alongside a supportive and forward-thinking team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high standards of care, learning, and development in line with the EYFS
  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities
  • Observe, assess, and support children’s individual learning journeys
  • Maintain accurate and effective children’s records
  • Work in partnership with parents, carers, and other professionals
  • Ensure children’s safety and wellbeing at all times
  • Promote inclusive practice and support children with additional needs
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating environment
  • Support students and contribute to team development

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years
  • Knowledge and experience of delivering the EYFS
  • A caring, flexible, and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare

Desirable:

  • Post-qualifying experience in a private day nursery
  • Experience of Ofsted inspections
  • Experience supporting children with SEN
  • Paediatric First Aid and Food Hygiene certificates
