SEN Teaching Assistant Job - Alternative Provision (Reception to Year 3) - Islington
Salary: £100 - £120 per day | Start date: ASAP | Contract: Long-term
We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic SEN Teaching Assistant to join an alternative provision attached to a mainstream primary school in Islington. This is a long-term, full-time role starting ASAP, supporting children from Reception to Year 3 who have complex needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and speech and language difficulties.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with the class teacher, SENCo, and therapists to support pupils' communication, emotional regulation, and learning development. You will provide both 1:1 and small group support in a structured and nurturing environment designed to help every child reach their potential.
