2 Sisters Food Group in Scunthorpe has an immediate vacancy for Gatehouse Officer to join our site Security Team. This is an excellent, permanent opportunity to join our friendly team.
About The Role
As a Gatehouse Officer you will operate the entry barriers to site and be the first point of contact for all site visitors, whether that be HGV Drivers, Contractors, Staff or anyone in between.
You’ll keep required records up to date by utilising our SAP systems and use your admin skills to ensure the weigh bridge is operated efficiently and accurately. You’ll handle phone calls in to site and conduct site specific H&S documentation for all site visitors.
You will be required to conduct mobile patrols around the site, addressing potential security breaches in a timely manner. Reporting all security incidents, conducting staff searches, escorting staff off site and enforcing the site rules and ongoing requirements.
This post is working a 4 on 4 off rotating shift pattern, working 07:00-19:00 & 19:00-07:00.
The hourly rate of pay is £13.50.
About You
Ideal applicants to the Gatehouse Officer role do not need to be SIA licenced, what we are looking for is:
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to stay calm in high pressure situations
- A high level of attention to detail
- The ability to accurately record and document information
- Patience and the desire to overcome language barriers
