Location: Inverness (travel across the Highlands)
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
Details:
Our client is looking to appoint an experienced Administrator to support the QA, Audit and Compliance team in ensuring all administrative tasks are carried out within company procedures and current legislation. This role is based in Inverness with the requirement to visit sites across the North of Scotland.
The successful applicant will be responsible for performing and managing audits of administrative systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and company procedures. This role involves planning, conducting, and reporting on audits as well as providing recommendations for continuous improvement within the business.
Duties include:
Carrying out on site audits of administrative systems to verify compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
Carrying out preparation work prior to visiting sites.
Ensure effective execution of administration audit activities.
Documenting audit findings, preparing reports, and communicating results to management.
Providing recommendations for corrective actions and improvements to an organization's administrative systems.
Ensuring the businesses processes and procedures align with industry best practices and certification requirements.
Person Specification:
Applicants will ideally have experience in quality management system standards, such as ISO 9001.
Strong administrative skills and an understanding of audit principles, procedures, and techniques.
Previous experience in a similar compliance administration role is preferred.
The ability to manage an audit program, communicate with stakeholders, and handle potential conflicts.
Competence in assessing the businesses ability to manage its systems and processes.
Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail in compiling and reporting findings.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent administration and IT skills.
Experience of the construction/civils sector preferred.
