About the Job
As the Operational Executive Assistant, you will provide comprehensive support to the Managing Director, ensuring the efficient
and effective operation of the UK Logistics and Transport function. This role requires a highly organised, proactive, and discreet
individual with exceptional organisational, communication and interpersonal skills. You will manage complex scheduling and
presentations, conduct research, and be responsible for reporting and data that will aid decision making. You will act as a key
liaison between the UK Logistics and Transport MD and internal/external stakeholders
As part of your key responsibilities you’ll:
* Coordinate diary management, including, scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements as required
* Anticipate and resolve scheduling conflicts and prioritising appointments based on importance
* Increase effectiveness by preparing comprehensive meeting agendas, presentations, and briefing materials
* Attend strategic meetings as required, and support follow-up actions to ensure these are completed
* Proactively manage logistics for meetings, including room bookings, catering, and equipment setup when required
* Conduct thorough research on various topics as requested by the MD, compiling and summarising findings in clear and concise
reports
* Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations, ensuring accuracy and professionalism
* Assist with the preparation of performance reports and presentations
* Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
* Maintain confidential information with discretion and professionalism
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key contacts across the organisation
* Handle ad-hoc administrative tasks as required
About You

* Previous experience in an Executive Assistant role
* Attention to detail and accuracy of work
* Strong interpersonal skills and have the desire to build relationships at all levels of the operation
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong Microsoft and / or Google suite skills - we use Google at Unipart
* A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement
