Baxterstorey are looking for Hospitality Assistant to join the team at 45 Gresham Street.

As a Hospitality Assistant, you will be responsible for providing service excellence to our guests and clients on our meetings and events.

Located close to St. Paul Cathedral, 45 Gresham Street, is a venue with a suite of period rooms providing an elegant backdrop to any meeting or event.

Job Description

The Hospitality assistant will be supporting and monitoring and serving all food and drinks to customers/clients/guest and clearing throughout the event with a strong emphasis on moving furniture (room set up involvement).

Job Type: 40h hours Contract

Salary: £13.85 hourly

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and polish all cutlery and glasses/crockery for the next event
  • Prepare all hospitality food and beverage requests offered to customers/clients/guest in designated meeting spaces in a presentable manner.
  • To be able to work without supervision and take initiative over duties and tasks without being directed.
  • To serve our guests with a genuine and positive demeanour. All service should be efficient and of the highest quality.
  • To work on licensed bars serving alcoholic beverages
  • Assist with deliveries as required
  • Preparation of all hospitality requirements ensuring all items are available and if not reporting this to your line manager
  • Ensuring that any linen hired, and equipment hired for an event is counted and packed away for collection after the event.
