Crynodeb
The purpose of the post is to assist in the delivery and development of a high quality extended hours clinical pharmacy service to the Emergency Department and the medical admission units. This a trained practitioner post and the post holder will be working on their own initiative for a significant period of time within guidelines and directions from the Highly Specialist Pharmacist. This is a progressional post, as such we welcome applications from existing band 6 pharmacists looking to develop towards band 7 as well as existing band 7 pharmacists looking for a change. Candidates who meet the essential criteria for the band 7 post will be started in post as a band 7. The post holder will be expected to undertake training of rotational and pre-registration pharmacists as well as junior doctors and nursing staff and undertake regular audits of the extended hour service.
