Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant: Your Role

As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for:

- Provide 1-1 and small group support sessions to pupils with SEN or SEMH needs, helping them engage fully in classroom activates

- Work closely with the SENCo and class teachers to implement personalised learning plans and differentiated support strategies

- Support children with complex learning needs and/or physical disabilities in a caring and respectful way

- Ensure all safeguarding procedures are followed, maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment at all times

Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant: Candidate Specification

KPi Education are seeking a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant who:

- Holds a 2:1 or above degree in Psychology, Education, Child Development or related field form a top-30 or Russell Group University

- Strong understanding of SEN and SEMH and confident supporting pupils with EHCPs

- Is empathetic, patient and adaptable, with excellent communication skills

- Is looking to build a long-term career in education, therapy or SEN specialism
