37 hours per week
NWFRS Grade 05 £29,064 to £31,022 per annum
Following the adoption of fleet, heating and power decarbonisation plans by the Fire and Rescue Authority, applications are invited for the above post.
This role involves supporting the Environment and Climate Change Manager in the delivery of environmental programmes and compliance initiatives. The successful candidate will contribute to project coordination, both in the office and on-site while liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include gathering and analysing environmental data, supporting carbon accounting, and assisting with the planning and monitoring of environmental projects. The role also supports the implementation of the North Wales Healthy Travel Charter and includes attending relevant meetings and site visits across the Service area.
This post is funded for an 18-month period. Subject to future funding availability and organisational need, there may be opportunities to extend or make the role permanent, but this cannot be guaranteed.
