Job Title: Site Manager – Civils & Demolition

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Manager to lead and oversee civil engineering and demolition projects for the next 3 to 4 months. This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership, technical knowledge, and a commitment to safety and quality.
You’ll be responsible for managing site operations, coordinating teams and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day site operations across civils and demolition projects.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
• Monitor project progress and report to senior management.
• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.
• Liaise with clients, engineers, and local authorities.
• Maintain accurate site records, including diaries, permits, and inspections.
• Ensure environmental and waste management procedures are followed.
• Proven experience as a Site Manager in civils and/or demolition.
• SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid certification.
• Strong understanding of demolition techniques, groundworks, drainage, and enabling works.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and RAMS.
• Knowledge of CDM regulations and temporary works procedures.
• Full UK driving licence.
