An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, dynamic, motivated and able Second in Maths to join our Maths department on a permanent basis. We are looking for an excellent practitioner to work collaboratively with the Head of Department to develop the wider curriculum, raising academic achievement and ensuring all pupils make outstanding progress in all areas.
The successful candidate will be:
- Able to inspire pupils of all abilities within Maths to achieve their highest potential. - Able to deputise in the absence of the Head of Department. - Experienced with proven outcomes for teaching higher paper pupils at KS4 within Maths. - Able to confidently manage behaviour across the department. - Committed to delivering consistently outstanding teaching and ability to share your practice with others in a constructive and collaborative manner. - Able to contribute to the strategic development of the department by implementing new initiatives, and monitoring and reporting on key outcomes in conjunction with the Head of Department. - Responsible and accountable for pupil attainment and achievement, by tracking pupil progress and supporting individual pupils’ learning needs within their allocated groups.
