Teaching Assistant - Level 3
Contract: Fixed Term with a view to be made permanent
Hours: Part time- 25 Hours (4 days per week)
Start Date: Asap
Salary: £28,598 - £31,022 (actual salary: £16,252 - £17,629 per annum - Grade 4)
The successful candidate will:
- Be a committed and compassionate professional; sympathetic to the Christian ethos of the school
- Treat pupils with dignity, building relationships rooted in mutual respect, and at all times observing proper boundaries appropriate to their professional position.
- Be able to complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under supervision.
- Have experience of working with children with SEND
- Have experience of teaching phonics
- Be able to work with the teacher to contribute to learning activities and lesson planning. This may include planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for individuals and groups.
- Be willing to support or lead classes according to the school’s need.
- Be an effective team member with very high expectations of themselves and all learners.
- Be an effective communicator able to develop strong relationships with all stakeholders, especially parents.
- Be an excellent role model with strong organisational skills.
- Understand the need for confidentiality both inside and outside of school.
