About the role of Quantity Surveyor:

Exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a central London based business working with private clients on high end residential projects valued between £10 Million and £50 Million. Initial project is a large residential job in Chertsey and requires previous high-end experience as well as 2 stage tender experience. They will be the number 2 on site so experience overseeing site operations and managing packages is essential. Will be reporting directly into the Senior QS and the commercial director.

Responsibilities for Quantity Surveyor:

  • Assisting in managing the day-to-day operations on site.
  • Working from the PCSA/2 Stage tender process, to delivering the site and working through to completion and final accounts.
  • Managing Packages.
  • Managing Sub-Contractors.
  • Site Meetings.

Requirements for Quantity Surveyor:

  • Experience on high end residential projects and with 2 stage tenders.
  • Previous work as a 2 on site.
  • Degree qualified and needs to be construction based.
  • Good communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
