Site Manager - Refurbishment & Fit-Out Projects

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Site Manager to lead and deliver small-scale refurbishment and fit-out projects across Cheshire, primarily within educational settings such as schools and academies.

About the Role:

As Site Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of projects ranging from £50,000 to £250,000, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. You'll be the key point of contact on-site, managing subcontractors, liaising with clients, and maintaining clear communication with the wider project team.

️ Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage site activities from start to completion
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
  • Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers
  • Maintain project timelines and quality standards
  • Communicate effectively with school representatives and stakeholders
  • Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks
✅ What We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience managing refurbishment or fit-out projects
  • Strong understanding of working in live school environments
  • SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications (essential)
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and problem-solve on site
