We’re looking for kind, reliable and compassionate people to join our domiciliary care team supporting adults to live independently in their own homes across the Hereford area.
As a Care Support Worker, you’ll provide practical help and emotional support to clients who may be elderly, disabled or living with long-term health conditions. Every day is different, and every visit makes a real difference.
What You’ll Do:
Assist clients with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, grooming)
Support with meal preparation, shopping, and light household tasks
Prompt and assist with medication as required
Provide companionship and emotional support
Help clients maintain independence, dignity, and comfort in their own homes
Accurately record visits, care notes, and any observations
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the office team
What We Offer:
Competitive hourly pay
Paid mileage between visits
Full induction, shadowing, and ongoing training (including NVQ opportunities)
Uniform and PPE provided
Flexible shift patterns (mornings, evenings, weekends, or school hours)
Supportive and friendly management team
Opportunities for progression within the company
About You:
You don’t need previous experience in care — just the right attitude and willingness to learn.
We provide full training and support for the right people.
You’ll need to be:
Caring, patient and reliable
A good communicator
Comfortable working alone and in the community
Organised and dependable
Able to travel between clients’ homes (driver with access to a car preferred)
Requirements:
Right to work in the UK
Willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check (cost reimbursed)
A genuine passion for helping others
