Crynodeb
The Consultant Urologist will provide high-quality elective urology services as part of Outpatient Networks NHS insourcing programme. The post-holder will deliver safe, efficient, and patient-centred care, helping NHS Trust partners to reduce waiting times and improve access to urology diagnostics and treatment. Main Duties and Responsibilities Provide consultant-led assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients attending elective urology clinics and theatre sessions. Perform a range of outpatient and day-case urology procedures (e.g. cystoscopy, TURBT, TURP, minor scrotal and penile surgery). Ensure the delivery of high standards of perioperative and postoperative care. Work collaboratively with NHS partner clinicians and nursing teams to maintain safe and effective patient pathways. Participate in clinical governance, audit, and quality assurance processes as required by Outpatient Network and partner Trusts. Adhere to GMC standards, NHS governance frameworks, and company clinical policies.
