Crynodeb

You will work Monday to Friday with one day release to attend college to study for your Level 2/3 apprenticeship qualification.
Your work will be primarily office based and in an open plan office environment.
You will work on various IT systems including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and our internal systems, any necessary training will be given.
You will be the first point of contact for all site and office based staff regarding training and will communicate and liaise with individuals in a friendly, professional and timely manner.
You will support the overall business with adhoc administration tasks. This will include answering the telephone, dealing with deliveries and greeting visitors in a helpful and professional manner directing calls/enquiries and forwarding messages as required.
You will be the first point of contact for all training providers and training enquiries and will be responsible for answering enquiries and forwarding messages as required.
You will assist the training co-ordinator with approving training invoices and ensuring all grants are claimed in a timely manner.

List of Duties include assisting the training coordinator with the below (please note this list is not exclusive):


Liaising with training providers
Booking training courses
Arranging travel and booking accomodation as necessary
Liaising with employees for training courses, sending out times, details and instructions and following up to ensure attendance
Monitoring training attendance and updating managers/directors with any issues or non attendance
Recording qualifications and sending out certificates when received
Updating the training matrix and ensuring all employee records are current
Assigning e-learning via BrightSafe and keeping up to date on employees progress
Seeking out new training opportunities and keeping up to date on grants
Applying for safety, plant cards and other certifications
Ordering office supplies
Finding venues and booking meetings
Organising and booking Company Days, Team Building days, Christmas Do's and helping to ensure that they are run efficiently on the day
Answering telephone calls, receiving deliveries and greeting visitors in a friendly and professional manner, forwarding any messages as required
Assist with adhoc business administrative tasks as required.


Training
You will attend Exeter College one day a week working towards your Level 2/3 Administration Apprenticeship.

Qualifications required


GCSE 4/C in Maths and English


Skills required


Basic computer skills
Competent in basic English and maths


Prospects
Future prospects include opportunity to stay on with the company after the apprenticeship ad progress into a higher level apprenticeship.
