Crynodeb

We are looking for a highly organised individual with excellent attention to detail to join our mortgage team at Meredith Morgan Taylor. The role involves providing administrative support to our mortgage advisers, liaising between clients, mortgage lenders and solicitors.

Duties to include:
• Act as the first point of contact for client and lender queries during the mortgage process.
• Accurately input client and application data into systems.
• Prepare and submit mortgage applications and supporting documentation to lenders.
• Track progress of applications and proactively chase outstanding information or documents.
• Liaise with lenders, solicitors and clients to ensure cases progress efficiently.
• Maintain up-to-date records and ensure all compliance requirements are met.
• Keep advisers informed of application progress and any issues.
• Support advisers with general administrative duties as required.


Training
One day a week (during term time) working towards either the Level 2 Step into Business or Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship to be decided by the college depending on the applicant.

Qualifications required
GCSE Maths/English at Grade 4/C is preferred.

Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
Highly competent communication skills
Good time management
A desire to show initiative
Basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft systems including word & excel
Self-motivated and able to work as part of a team
Ability to manage workload efficiently and work independently


Prospects
Ability to train to become a Mortgage Advisor, para-planner or financial adviser.

Qualification / Standard : ST0070 Business administrator
Duration 18 months
