Apprentice to join our friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity to kick-start your career, gain hands-on experience, and develop valuable skills in business operations, sales, accounts, and marketing.
About the role:
As an apprentice, no two days will be the same. You’ll play an important role in supporting our office team, helping with day-to-day administration, while also getting involved in sales administration, accounts and marketing activities to promote our business. Full training will be provided as you learn and grow in the role.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
Managing diaries and scheduling appointments
Answering telephone calls and responding to emails
Assisting customers and suppliers with enquiries
Entering supplier invoices into our system
Raising sales invoices
Preparing, typing, and sending out quotes
Supporting with marketing tasks such as updating social media
What we’re looking for:
A positive, can-do attitude and eagerness to learn
Good communication and organisational skills
Basic IT knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
Attention to detail and willingness to take on new challenges
Hours & Benefits:
Full time: Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm
28 days holiday (including bank holidays)
On-the-job training and mentoring Support to gain qualifications while you earn
This is a great opportunity to build a career in administration with a well-established local business.
Training
One day a week during term time working towards either the Level 2 Step into Business or Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship (to be decided by the college based on applicants previous qualifications and experience).

GCSE Maths & English C/4
Skills required
Good communication and organisational skills
Basic IT knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
Prospects
Qualification / Standard : ST0070 Business administrator
Duration 18 months
