We're now welcoming applications from Consultant and Senior Neuropsychologists to join our growing team at The Laurels Neurorehabilitation and Specialist Residential Service in Lincolnshire including an exciting opportunity to shape and lead within our newly developed Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) service.

Located just two miles from the historic city of Lincoln, The Laurels provides expert neurological rehabilitation and specialist support for individuals with acquired and traumatic brain injuries, complex stroke, spinal cord injuries, and other severe neurological conditions. Our service is structured around two key pathways our established neurorehabilitation provision and our newly launched FND unit offering a dynamic, collaborative environment for neuropsychology professionals to support individuals with acquired brain injury and/or FND.

As the successful applicant, you will play a key leadership role in the development and delivery of neuropsychology services across both divisions, with a particular focus on building and embedding our specialist FND pathway. You will work alongside a passionate, multidisciplinary team that's committed to transforming lives supporting individuals through some of their most complex and challenging journeys toward recovery, independence, and renewed purpose.

What you'll be working:

Below are our standard working hours but if you are looking for different working hours please feel free to talk to us and we will be as flexible we can around the needs of the service.

  • We can consider 4 or 5 day working week
  • 30 or 37.5 hrs
  • Between Monday to Friday

What you'll be doing:

  • As our Consultant Neuropsychologist, you will:
  • Undertake comprehensive psychological assessments, clinical formulations, and interventions, including specialist neuropsychological assessments, for individuals with acquired brain injury.
  • Deliver evidence-based individual and group therapeutic interventions aimed at reducing psychological distress and improving functional outcomes.
  • Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of psychological interventions to ensure continuous improvement and positive impact on recovery.
  • Provide clinical guidance and supervision to support colleagues in delivering evidence-based psychological interventions.
  • Take proactive responsibility for maintaining security procedures and continuously assessing and managing clinical risks.
  • Maintain registration with the HCPC as a Practitioner Clinical Psychologist, including active engagement in Continuing Professional Development (CPD), and uphold competence in administering psychological and risk assessments.
  • Foster positive, collaborative relationships with colleagues, families, carers, and external visitors, promoting a respectful and inclusive environment.

What you'll have:

For this role, you'll need:

  • HCPC registration
  • Significant post-qualification experience working in neuropsychology or neurorehabilitation settings.
  • Skilled in a range of therapeutic approaches relevant to brain injury (e.g. CBT, ACT, systemic approaches).
  • Confident working autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Passionate about delivering person-centred, values-based care.
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS.
