Test Analyst

Overview - Test Analyst
We are looking for a talented Test Analyst to join our Test and Validation team in Belfast. This is an exciting new role offering the chance to work on challenging projects in a supportive environment. As a Test Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of critical data systems.

Responsibilities - Test Analyst

  • Analyse and reconcile data, with a strong focus on SQL and Postgres JSON/JSONB functions.

  • Perform testing activities across ETL processes and data validation tasks.

  • Validate JSON and Parquet data, ensuring accuracy and adherence to schema standards.

  • Use Postman for API testing and PowerShell to support automation.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement within the Test and Validation team.

Skills and Experience - Test Analyst

  • Strong SQL skills with Postgres JSON/JSONB operators.

  • Proven experience in data analysis and reconciliation, ideally with ETL experience.

  • Basic understanding of AWS services such as S3, QuickSight and Glue.

  • Knowledge of JSON/Avro schemas and validation.

  • Familiarity with Postman and PowerShell scripting.
