The Best Connection are recruiting experienced Class 1 Drivers for a client based in West Auckland (Bishop Auckland). Our client provides freight and distribution services across the UK.
The Role:
- Night-time deliveries across the North East region as a Class 1 Driver
- Freight duties with minimal handballing
- Part of a wider UK-wide haulage operation
- As a Class 1 Driver, you will manage your routes efficiently and safely
- Work night shifts Monday-Friday, occasional Saturdays as a Class 1 Driver
The Candidate:
- Minimum 1 year of commercial experience as a Class 1 Driver
- Valid Cat C+E licence
- CPC qualification
- Digital tachograph card
- Reliable, professional, and safety-focused
Pay Rates:
- £15.25 per hour - standard rate
- £16.25 per hour - night rate (20:00-06:00)
- £17.25 per hour - Saturday
Requirements:
- Induction must be completed prior to starting shifts
